Abstract: |
From available information there appeared little evidence to suggest any prehistoric occupation and the Roman evidence pointed further west to Brentford itself. From the post-Roman period to the late-18th or 19th century there appeared to have been no or minimal development, the site having been marginal land. From the 19th century the site had been developed with much of the land, especially along the eastern boundary, being disturbed and the area of the Hollows was also fairly clear of structures. There was an altogether low archaeological potential for the site. [AIP] |
