Abstract:
As a phase of work subsequent to a prior evaluation, the watching brief identified deposits previously identified, particularly a medieval agriculture/horticultural soil that produced one potsherd. The watching brief also identified the foundations of the old public house, and a brick well feature. In addition, the information regarding the natural sequence was gained from an examination of the pre-medieval deposits. [Au(abr)]
