Abstract:
Both the recorded section and the results of the earthwork survey indicated that the physical damage caused to the barrow mound by the widening of the haul road was minimal. By projecting the line of the base of the barrow mound into the area of damage it was estimated that no more than 1m of the very base of the monument had been removed. No further archaeological finds were retrieved or features identified.[Au(abr)]
