Abstract: |
This investigation was part of a mitigation strategy prior to ground investigation works. The hand investigation of a test pit, as well as machine excavated test pits and trenches identified a relict channel, aligned roughly east to west along the southern boundary of the paddock. The upper fills of this channel produces worked flint and late prehistoric pottery. Colluvium was identified in the paddock, an area previously uninvestigated. [Au(adp)] |
