Abstract: |
An assessment was carried out in response to proposals for a new housing development at the site. Low potential for archaeological finds before the medieval period was identified. The site was thought to contain remains relating to the medieval St. Batholomew's Hospital, founded before 1215. These would be considered both locally and nationally important. Post-medieval remains were thought to be fragmentary and less important. [Au(abr)] |
