Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken in a field situated within an area proposed for the construction of a reservoir where a flint scatter had been previously recorded. Fragments of flint recovered from test-pits demonstrated that the centre of prehistoric activity was located on a flattish spur. The character of the flintwork recovered suggested that Later Mesolithic pieces predominated, with later pieces only coming from the slope south of the spur. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
