Abstract: |
No structural remains were recorded of the 19th century timber and boat yard that had previously occupied the site, but trenching revealed a substantial peat deposit, which was sampled for palaeoenvironmental analysis and radiocarbon dating. The results provided information on the immediate and surrounding environment that could be compared with evidence from other coastal peat deposits in Cornwall. [Au(abr)] |
