Abstract: |
<summary>A desk-based assessment and rapid field scan of the construction corridor of a new by-pass were undertaken, in connection with the preparation of an Environmental Statement. A number of archaeological sites and find spots were identified, including: prehistoric finds of Neolithic and Bronze Age date; a Roman tombstone; and undated and post-medieval features such as banks, culverts, ridge and furrow, quarries and buildings. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
