Abstract: |
Historic building recording noted a blocked 'Tudor' door and reused timbers. Below ground watching brief observations failed to come up with any evidence for early activity on the site, and there was no evidence found for other parts of the late 15th century building of which the east range was thought to be a part. The only dating evidence was a discrete assemblage of pottery and clay pipes dating from the early 18th century. [Au(adp)] |
