Abstract: |
The watching brief was successful in identifying a number of archaeological features across the site, including pits, ditches, gullies, a drain and a culvert, areas of cobbled yard surface and possible remnant foundations of a building. Although the date of the majority of these features was undertermined, a number in the north-west were dated to the Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods.[Au] |
