Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during groundworks for a new building at Home Farm, located within the western part of the motte and bailey castle at Upper Slughter, to the west of the Scheduled Area (SAM Gloucestershire 179). Two features of archaeological interest were noted, comprising a medieval pit and the remains of a post-medieval sheep-dip or sheep-wash. [AIP] |
