Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of tree pits and light columns along a street. A neolithic arrowhead and a number of Roman finds had been recovered in the surrounding area, and the route of a Roman road lay to the north. During the watching brief, a 16th-17th century ditch was observed. A buckle of the same date and a fragment of post-15th century tile were found. [AIP] |
