Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken in advance of the construction of the extension to the current building. The investigations revealed the remains of a road that was thought to be part of the principal north-south Roman road through the town. Some small finds were also recovered although these dated to the 18th can 19th centuries. [AIP] |
