Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was maintained during the construction of a single house. A number of brick walls were located which related to the workshop buildings which had recently been demolished. Several sandstone walls were also noted. Although little dating evidence was obtainable they appeared to be probably of 17th century date. Very few areas of intact stratigraphy were located in relation to the sandstone walls and no occupation horizons were identified.[Au(abr)] |
