Abstract: |
The survey successfully identified the extent of the main cistern of the priory, founded in 1171. It was not possible to separate the individual chambers, however, a small number of other anomalies were located. At the Officer's Mess, the search for the John Sloane designed music room had mixed results. Structural remains were thought to have been located, however, building rubble interfered with the results. [Au(adp)] |
