Abstract: |
A watching brief during the excavation of foundation trenches for a new building identified a sequence of modern building debris and features. Two pits, a posthole, a ditch and a gully, all of indeterminate date cut the natural sands. The gully and ditch however did match the alignment of a previously discovered Late saxon ditch. A clay-packed foundation trench of an undated building was also found. [Au(adp)] |
