Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping and the excavation of foundation trenches at the site of a new house. Roman settlement had been recorded in the surrounding area, and the settlement of East Hanney itself had early medieval origins. During the watching brief, a ditch containing four sherds of medieval pottery was recorded. [AIP] |
