Abstract: |
Archaeological observation was undertaken during topsoil stripping and the excavation of service trenchs in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission for the erection of 33 houses with an access road and car park. This revealed parts of the foundations for walls belonging to 19th and 20th century outbuildings and a large quantity of post-medieval pottery. However, no features or finds related to medieval Polesworth were noted. [Au(adp)] |
