Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of a 20m by 3m trial trench, was undertaken on the site of proposed development on land that had previously been part of Carnation Nurseries. The evaluation revealed that the area had been disturbed during the construction of greenhouses and the subsequent running of the nurseries. No archaeological features or finds were identified.
