Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the site. Alluvial silts were identified, possibly of Late Roman date. Layers of silt were also recorded which were identified as from salt production. A possible medieval seabank was identified and pits containing refuse from the 15th to 18th century were also identified. [Au(abr)] |
