Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the construction of a pipeline. A number of areas of potential archaeological significance in the vicinity of the route had been identified, including two cropmark sites and a series of ridge and furrow earthworks. During the watching brief, the denuded profile of the earthworks, two relict water channels, a number of relatively recent field boundaries and a scatter of medieval pottery were recorded. [AIP] |
