Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation comprised three trial trenches sited to investigate possible archaeological features identified by an earlier geophysical survey. The evaluation revealed a sequence of natural boulder clay truncated by field drains and a field boundary ditch. These were overlain by a heavy plough soil. No archaeological features of significance were encountered within the trial trenches. [Au(abr)] |
