Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. The eastern edge of an 18th century dock, recorded on early maps of the area, was observed, and the remains of a mid-17th century dock or revetment were found. The excavation was extended to investigate the latter feature, which was constructed of re-used ship timbers. [AIP]
