Abstract: |
A trial trenching exercise was carried out in advance of a new park-and-ride service. Three trenches were excavated, of which one exposed a rock-cut holloway with the remains of cart tracks in the bottom. Finds indicated a post-medieval date. The true course of Grimes Dyke was thought to lie outside the development area. [Au(abr)] |
