Abstract:
An evaluation at the site revealed significant deposits of medieval and later date, including foundations of a building and a wood-lined drain. Roman remains were thought to survive in the northern half of the site, but were below the depth to which it was possible to excavate. However, a quantity of Roman finds was recovered in later levels as residual material. [Au(adp)]
