Abstract: |
The evaluation proved that the archaeological resource had been severely truncated by an earlier basement across the majority of the proposed development site. In situ brickwork located within the trenches related to former basements shown on Goad's Fire Insurance plan of 1932. No fills present on the site predated the 19th century and as such no further archaeological intervention was deemed necessary. [Au(adp)] |
