Abstract: |
An excavation was undertaken to determine the presence and nature of any archaeological deposits associated with the 'Vallum' of Hadrian's Wall. Service trenches for a new temporary classroom were excavated to the south of the school building. Nothing of archaeological interest was seen, it appeared that this part of the school playing fields had suffered extensive truncation and disturbance in recent times. [Au(adp)] |
