Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment determined that the site had the potential for surviving archaeological remains of prehistoric, Romano-British, Saxon and medieval date. There had been basements excavated on the site, so it was decided that the excavation of trial pits to determine the depth of archaeological remains below the basements should be the next step.
