Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated across the site. A number of made ground layers were recorded above water lain deposits, the earliest contained pottery dating to the 15th or 16th century. It was evidenced that the site was reclaimed low-lying marsh from the 16th century onwards. This was consistent with the documented history of the site. [Au(abr)] |
