Abstract: |
A hand excavated drainage trench at the font of the house cut a number of recent drainage trenches but no archaeological deposits were encountered. Reduction of the ground level and the excavation of a soakaway trench at the back of the building revealed the remains of a 19th century outhouse linked to the back door of the cottage by a walled walkway.
