Abstract: |
Evaluation trenches were excavated on the site as a extension to an evaluation carried out in 2003. The trenches uncovered further ditches from a Roman field system and domestic rubbish suggestive of a Mid to Late Roman settlement in close proximity to the site. Pottery, animal bone and fragmentary remains of a possible cauldron were recovered from the site. [Au(abr)] |
