Abstract: |
The assessment concluded that the school site was one of great archaeological sensitivity. It lay within an area, which was noted for its exceptional Roman remains, and emerging evidence of post-Roman activity. Archaeological remains were likely to have been very well preserved over the majority of the site. The national archaeological importance of the school site was recognised in its substantial inclusion within the boundaries of Scheduled Ancient Monument (Cambs) 93, a Roman building complex. [Au] |
