Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the demolition of an outbuilding and the removal of tarmac and concrete from the yard immediately to the north of the property. The site lay within an area thought to contain the remains of a Roman bath house. Due to the shallow nature of most of the excavations no archaeological deposits or remains were revealed, all of the material removed being of modern origin. [Au] |
