Abstract: |
A fluxgate gradiometer survey, covering 0.64ha, was carried out at the site of a previous gradiometer survey. It was hoped that a new survey, using a more detailed sampling strategy and more sophisticated software, could more reliably interpret some of the anomalies detected during the earlier survey. Two sinuous, positive, linear anomalies and several linear trends, of unknown origin, were identified in the new survey. Unfortunately, the presence of a gas main in the east of the survey block coupled with poor survey conditions meant that the recent survey did not allow a more definitive interpretation of any of the anomalies.
