Abstract: |
The survey consisted of a dendrochronological survey during repair works to The Mint. The building was formerly part of St. Nicholas' Priory, said to be the refectory, and was a Grade II Listed Building. The survey identified that the arch-braced collar trusses in the roof reflected that the building was constructed in the mid 15th century. The three storey partitions and the first floor beams were a later addition. [Au(abr)] |
