Abstract:

Ninety-six pieces of worked flint, containing elements of Late Glacial or Early Mesolithic working were recovered. Early/Middle and Late Iron Age pottery along with animal bone and worked and burnt flint was also observed. A number of large post-medieval pits were excavated, a circular pit and a number of less substantial pits and post holes were also recorded. Pottery from these features included 19th/20th century industrial ware and other finds, which included ceramic building material fragments, slag, glass, residual worked flint, iron, clay pipe and animal bone were also identified.
