Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained during groundworks for development where a prior geophysical survey had identified the presence of ridge and furrow. The watching brief confirmed that the site was used in the Medieval and later periods for agriculture. The numerous Roman sherds found during monitoring, and from other sites in the vicinity, suggested that a Roman site may have lain nearby, possibly towards the parish church. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
