Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a trench for the replacement of a gas main, at the site of church which was built in 1820 and subsequently demolished, and which had replaced an earlier medieval church. A small quantity of human bone and part of a grave slab of possible mid-19th century date were found within the demolition layer of the 19th century church. [Au(adp)] |
