Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission for the construction of a new sports hall. The assessment noted the finds of Late Bronze Age and Roman features to the immediate south of the site. There was no other known archaeology within the immediate vicinity of the site. The site was peripheral agricultural land of the Lea valley terrace between the settlements of Hoddesdon and Stanstead St Margaret's during the medieval and earlier post-medieval periods. [Au(adp)] |
