Abstract: |
<summary>The archaeological survey of East Berkshire, and discoveries made during pipeline construction, served to demonstrate more intense activity on London Clay in the area than was hitherto suspected, possible prehistoric, Roman and medieval activity being suggested. A recommendation was made that fieldwalking be undertaken over the site after ploughing, possibly including a magnetic susceptibility survey and a small trial excavation. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
