Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was carried out at proposed development at the corner of George Leigh and Cotton Street, Ancoats. The study area contained upstanding remains of a clergy house and Catholic school. Potential below ground remains relating to a Roman Catholic school and a 19th century public house were expected.
