Abstract: |
Three Scheduled Monuments were located within or immediately outside the study area and consisted of three Bronze Age barrows, an Iron Age banjo enclosure and the site of a Roman villa. A further Scheduled Monument including barrows and other earthworks was located approximately 500 metres to the north-east of the route. Other archaeological entries consisted of three areas of undated cropmarks identified from aerial photographs, of which some lay along the route of the proposed pipeline.[Au(abr)] |
