Abstract: |
A salvage excavation commenced after the discovery of two sets of remains dating to the Romano-British period. The graves discovered likely dated to after the 4th century AD when a nearby cemetery would have extended to this area of the city. A later Saxon ditch was thought to have marked a boundary. [AIP] |
