Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken where the construction of a water-main passed through the periphery of a medieval moated site comprising earthworks identified as fish ponds surrounded by an outer moat. A curvilinear feature, probably an infilled moat, three refuse pits and a demolished wall, mostly of medieval date, were revealed. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 41791 |
