Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of groundworks associated with the construction of a new footpath revealed no archaeological features, though a selection of artefacts was recovered. The footpath passes through the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Sheepen, one of the foci of the pre-Roman fortress of Camulodunum, a late Iron Age settlement and industrial centre. [Au(adp)] |
