Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission for the construction of a garage block and annexe. Two trenches were excavated across the footprint of the proposed building. No artefact evidence was collected from the top- or sub-soil to indicate earlier occupation or activity in the vicinity of the site and only a single post-setting of modern date was recorded in either trench.
