Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken on the groundworks relating to the conversion of a farm complex. The earliest building on the site was the Barn and Grain Loft, which was believed to have been of late 18th century date. On present evidence, the site appeared to have been of comparatively late post-medieval date. No archaeological evidence was recovered to show that the site was any earlier than the 19th century.
