Abstract: |
Archaeological evaluation and recording work were undertaken prior to the construction of a single dwelling and drive. The remains of three demolished late 19th/early 20th century glass houses were recorded to the north of the site. An evaluation trench was excavated within the footprints of the new building. This revealed deep, rich soil layers overlying a 19th century pit and a small amount of burnt material. No earlier finds or features were revealed. [Au] |
