Abstract: |
This evaluation revealed medieval rubbish pits which contained animal bone and pottery, walls of a possibly similar date were also located. These pits may be associated with nearby contemporary tenements known to have existed in the area. Quantities of fired clay and charcoal could suggest some form of small-scale industrial activity in the area. [Au(adp)] |
