Abstract: |
The project consisted of two phases of fieldwork. The first phase entailed hand excavation, down to subsoil, of the drainpipe trenches, directly adjacent to the foundations of the Wheat and Barley barns. The second phase consisted of monitoring the remaining ground works. One feature was located in the north-western end of trench one, directly beneath the porch of the Barley Barn. This may have been related to the construction of the Barley Barn porch. However, the similarity of this deposit to the natural suggested that this was a natural feature. [Au] |
